M.Video-Eldorado says H1 IFRS net profit rises 44% to 5.3 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- The adjusted net profit of Russia’s electronic goods and household appliances retailer M.Video-Eldorado grew by 44.2% on the year to 5.327 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Monday.   

Revenue rose by 7.8% to 173.934 billion rubles.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) grew 20.3% to 13.354 billion rubles.
